【展示の詳細・アーティストの紹介】
ラティシア・シュレッサー＝ガムランはフランスに在住し、パリを拠点に活動する新進気鋭のアーティストです。彼女のスタジオであるAtelier 101はアートを創造する場、彼女の活動の場としては勿論、ラティシアによるビジュアルアートを学ぶ場としても利用されています。

彼女はカリグラフィーに影響を受け、形象や色彩の音楽性を追求していく過程の中で純粋抽象絵画創作への第一歩を踏み出します。2003年の作品“Stripes”ではアクリル・カラー顔料・インクと水を混ぜ合わせたものを用い、白いキャンパスの上に色彩と質感に満ちた形を描いています。無限の枠組みを感じさせる作品です。

また2009年からは、透明性のある樹脂を新しい素材として用いています。樹脂の流体的な質感・その表面を流れる光はひとつになって、動きと構造・偶発性・組み合わせの無限の会場と完璧なバランスを持って、見事な作品空間を作り出しています。

また今回、震災復興チャリティへの寄贈作品もアーティストよりのメッセージを添えて展示しております。
